Grants for Technology Development and Research Offered by NASA

NASA has awarded 26 grants totaling $9.9m to 28 US states and territories to increase their capacity and competitiveness in research and technology development. The funds were awarded as part of the agency’s Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR), which aims to involve states and territories that don’t historically participate significantly in aerospace and aerospace research activities. The program is administered by a local faculty member, with grants to be used to fund research and development projects that support NASA’s missions. EPSCoR awards Research Infrastructure Development Grants (RIDs) every three to five years.
